Almighty and everlasting God, who in your tender love towards the human race sent your Son our Saviour Jesus Christ to take upon him our flesh and to suffer death upon the cross: grant that we may follow the example of his patience and humility, and also be made partakers of his resurrection; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

ST MARK’S GARDENING TEAM: A gardening group is growing at St Mark! We plan to spend Wednesday mornings gardening and caring for St Mark’s Church and grounds. If you would be interested, please speak to Phil or Frances Barnes!
APRIL’S MOST WANTED FOOD BANK ITEMS: pasta, tinned soup, baked beans, tinned or packet potatoes, tinned fish. Thank you for your generosity and continued support; it really is appreciated and still so needed.
ANNUAL CHURCH MEETINGS:
Sunday 10th April (today): St Mark – immediately following the service, St Catherine @ 11:30am, St Mary @ 11:30am
To be on your Local Leadership Team (LLT) you need to be on the electoral roll of the church you usually attend.
The Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM) at which the two Parochial Wardens are elected and the two PCC representatives from each church approved will be on Sunday 1st May at 4pm in St Laurence Parish Hall.
If you would like to have a say in what our “new normal” will be, please make sure you attend the meetings so that your voice can be heard!
KNIT, CRAFT & NATTER has begun at St Mark’s! Come along on a Wednesday from 10-12, all are welcome! A charge of 50p will be made to cover costs. Speak to Frances Barnes for more info!
GOOD FRIDAY OPEN AIR WITNESS: On Good Friday (April 15th), there will be an open-air witness at 12 noon in Ramsgate Town Centre. Meet outside Hardres Street United Church at 11:45 for a walk following the cross, followed by a series of prayer, readings and hymns at noon. CRAFT FAYRE AND FAMILY FUNDAY: Come to St Mark’s on Saturday April 16th from 12 til 4 for a day of fun for all the family, including an Easter egg hunt, craft stalls and activities and games. A SAFEGUARDING MODULE will be given by Kevin Spain at St Mark on Saturday 23rd April from 10am, for approximately three and a half hours. Refreshments will be provided. TRASH AND TREASURE: The Friends of St Nicholas at Wade Church invite you to Trash and Treasure on Saturday 23rd April, from 10-1 at St Nicholas at Wade Church. Join us in the church where someone else’s trash might be your very own treasure! Tea, coffee and cake will be available too.
SAVE THE DATES: St Catherine’s May Music Extravaganza! Every Friday evening in May, from 7pm – 9pm, St Catherine’s will be hosting musicians for an evening of music and fun. Watch this space for more details and artist information as they are announced! The first Music Extravaganza evening will be on Friday 6th May.
