THE COLLECT FOR TODAY
O Lord Jesus Christ, who, at your first coming, sent your messenger to prepare your way before you: grant that the ministers and stewards of your mysteries may likewise so prepare and make ready your way by turning the hearts of the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, that at your second coming to judge the world we may be found an acceptable people in your sight. For you are alive and reign with the Father in the unity of the holy spirit, one God now and for ever. Amen.

NOTICES AND FORTHCOMING EVENTS
The St Laurence Christmas Fair raised £1100 for parish funds. To everyone who contributed in any way whatsoever: “Thank you, thank you, thank you” - Zoë
Dear Friends,
A huge thank you from Jane and myself for the wonderful send-off that you gave us at the conclusion of my ministry in the Parish of St Laurence in Thanet. For those who brought and prepared the sumptuous buffet in the Parish Hall - you did us proud! Thank you also for the many generous and unique gifts which we will treasure as memories of our 8 years in Thanet.
As I said on Wednesday evening, there is no ‘I’ in teams and I would like to thank each one of you who over the years have contribute to the life of the parish. Continue to build strong relationships, not only with each other but in the wider community.
Jane and I now move on in the next phase of our journey as we move to Worthing, a new community and diocese. We rest confident in the hope that the Christ-light will continue to lead and guide us as it has throughout our lives together.
If you would like to stay in touch, you can either follow us on FaceBook or alternatively ask us directly for our new contact details.
With our love and prayers,
Andrew and Jane
