ANNA FRIENDS TRAINING: 26^th June, 3^rd and 10^th July 1pm – 3pm to be held at St Mark’s. For those who would like to learn more about how to support the spiritual wellbeing of older people and people living with dementia. St CATHERINE COFFEE MORNINGS: On the final Saturday of each month – June/July/August/September – St Catherine’s church will be holding a Coffee Morning, and serving bacon baps.  There will also be a bring and buy table.  So, do please join us, bring along your white elephants and enjoy our church and grounds.  The first is 10:30 – 12:00, 29^th June.

 

St LAURENCE JUNIOR ACADEMY SUMMER FAIR: Saturday, 29^th June, 11am – 1pm.  The bell ringers will be supporting this event by showcasing the mini ring, for anyone to have a go at bell ringing. The Clock Restoration Appeal group will also have a stall there. Please come along and support our school.

THE  LICENSING OF REVD CATHERINE TUCKER AS PRIEST-IN-CHARGE:

7.00pm on Wednesday 10th July.   The Parochial Wardens of St Laurence-in-Thanet would be delighted if you will celebrate the Licensing of the Revd Catherine Tucker as Priest-in-Charge of the St Laurence-in-Thanet Benefice by the Rt Revd Rose Hudson-Wilkin, Bishop of Dover with the Ven. Dr William Adam, Archdeacon of Canterbury. The service will take place at St Laurence-in-Thanet Church, St Lawrence, Ramsgate CT11 0QT, with refreshments following the service.

 

SAFEGUARDING TRAINING: It is proposed to hold a safeguarding course in the Parish after the summer holidays (probably September at St Mark’s).  To this end, please could all Church Officers, group and club leaders look at the members and leaders to ascertain who requires training/renewal.  This will help us get an idea of numbers and whether more than one session will need to be arranged.  – Please forward information to Sue Cox.
