Collect: Almighty and everlasting God, clothed in majesty, whose beloved Son was this day presented in the Temple in the substance of our flesh: grant that we may be presented to you with pure and clean hearts. By your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord, in the unity of the Holy Spirit – one God, now and for ever. Amen
Post Communion: Lord, you fulfilled the hope of Simeon and Anna, who lived to welcome the Messiah: may we, who have received these gifts beyond words, prepare to meet Christ Jesus when he comes to bring us to eternal life; for he is alive and reigns now and for ever. . Amen

Betty ran the Newman’s shop across the road from St Laurence church and was a keen volunteer both at St Chirstopher’s and at St Laurence in her younger years. She sadly died alone a few months ago and a search for relatives took place. After a basic funeral we are now offering this occasion for Betty free of charge. PCC has agreed that we will be planting an Elizabeth rose bush in her honour and the service will be led by several members of our Ministry Team. Do attend if you can, and spread the word in the community. ST CATHERINE’S 6 WALKS IN 2026: Parish wide and beyond – for you and your friends and family. WALK for your SOUL.
