Should you have a gluten allergy and wish to receive communion please let one of the sides people know at least 10 minutes before the service starts so that a gluten free wafer may be provided.
The 10:00am service at St Laurence Church will also be live streamed by Rev Phil Barnes

Almighty God, who wonderfully created us in your own image and yet more wonderfully restored us through your Son, Jesus Christ; grant that, as he came to share in our humanity, so we may share the life of his divinity – who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit; one God, now and for ever. Amen

NOTICES AND FORTHCOMING EVENTS
CHRISTMAS FUND-RAISING: Many thanks to everyone who organised and cooked the St Catherine Christmas Dinner. We raised over £700 for parish funds.
CHRISTMAS FUND-RAISING: The Carol Service at St Catherine raised over £100 for Judith Andrews’ Anna Chaplaincy projects based at St Christopher.
THANET FOOD BANK:
January’s most wanted items are: tinned fruit/vegetables, pasta sauce, cereal, cereal bars. Please take to any of the following: Parish Office, your church, the Thanet Food Bank Hub at unit 3c, Westwood Business Park, Strasbourg Street, Margate, CT9 3JJ (behind B&Q). If they are closed, there is a chest inside the first door on the left of the business complex.
ST MARK’S GARDENING GROUP: This runs on a Wednesday, tidying the church grounds. Information will follow about when this group will restart.

CAROLS AFTER CHRISTMAS: St Mark’s Belleplate group (handbells) invites you to an afternoon of Christmas music and tea on Saturday 7th January 2pm-4pm in St Mark’s church hall. Admission is free. Donations to church funds welcome.
QUIZ NIGHT: in aid of the St Lawrence/Laurence Clock Restoration Appeal, Saturday 28th January at 6:30pm in the Parish Hall. Tickets £5.00 per person, bring your own drinks and nibbles. Tickets from Freda on 07732864076 or info@stlawrenceclockappeal.org
