Almighty God, you have made us for yourself and our hearts are restless ’til they find their rest in you; pour your love into our hearts and draw us to yourself, and so bring us at last to your heavenly city where we shall see you face to face. Through Jesus Christ your Son, our Lord, him who is alive and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit - one God, now and forever. Amen.

ST LAWRENCE CLOCK RESTORATION APPEAL:
Saturday 21st October is Quiz Night in the Parish Hall. Doors open at 6:30pm for a prompt 7:00pm start. Tickets £5.00 per person, tables of 8 available to book. Bring your own drink and nibbles. There will be a raffle for which prizes would be greatly appreciated. Contact Freda on 07732864076 for tickets or to donate a raffle prize.
Friday 3rd November. A concert in St Laurence church by the Coastal Choir. Doors open at 7:00pm for a prompt 7:30pm start. Tickets pre-purchased £8.00 or £10.00 on the night, with all proceeds going to the clock restoration fund.
We will also have a stall at the St Laurence Christmas Fair. More details nearer the time. If you are unable to get along to any of the mentioned events or wish to make a regular monthly donation, remember you can donate direct to the clock restoration fund by bank transfer/online banking or standing order.
