ST LAWRENCE CLOCK RESTORATION APPEAL: Friday 3rd November. A CONCERT in St Laurence church by the Coastal Choir. Doors open at 7:00pm for a prompt 7:30pm start. Tickets pre-purchased £8.00 or £10.00 on the night, with all proceeds going to the clock restoration fund. The Coastal Choir is led by our own organist Edward Greenhalgh, and we look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at this fund-raising event. There will be refreshments available to purchase during the interval. Date for your 2024 diary, January 27^th Quiz Night, details will be publicised soon. If you are unable to get along to any of the mentioned events or wish to make a regular monthly donation, remember you can donate direct to the clock restoration fund by bank transfer/online banking or standing order. MINI CHRISTMAS FAYRE: 4^th November, 10:00 – 12:00  at St Mark’s .  There will be cakes, books, jewellery and Christmas Mice!

SAYING GOODBYE SERVICE: 4^th November, 11:30, Canterbury Cathedral. This service is aimed at parents and families who have experienced losing a baby at any stage of pregnancy, at birth or in infancy, or have lived with the fact that they are unable to have children – for whatever reason.  This might have happened recently or years ago.  You can find out more by visiting the website sayinggoodbye.org
