THE COLLECT FOR TODAY

God, who in generous mercy sent the Holy Spirit upon your Church in the burning fire of your love: grant that your people may be fervent in the fellowship of the gospel that, always abiding in you, they may be found steadfast in faith and active in service; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

THE COLLECT FOR HARVEST

Creator God, you made the goodness of the land, the riches of the sea and the rhythm of the seasons; as we thank you for the harvest, may we cherish and respect this planet and its peoples, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

Each year Roadshows are held in each deanery attended by the Diocesan Secretary, Stephen Taylor, the Finance Director, Dug Gibb, the Financial Controller, Jennifer Mulrooney and Archdeacon Will. The aim of the Deanery Roadshows in 2022 is to continue the conversation that our Changed Lives - Changing Lives strategy started in 2021. This will be an opportunity to review the Deanery Plans and Finance and discuss some budget scenarios for 2023 and reflect on flourishing growth, young people and generosity. The feedback from these Roadshows will help inform the final budget discussion at Diocesan Synod in November 2022.
