Should you have a gluten allergy and wish to receive communion please let one of the sides people know at least 10 minutes before the service starts so that a gluten free wafer may be provided.

THE COLLECT FOR TODAY

Most merciful God, who, by the death and resurrection of your Son, Jesus Christ, delivered and saved the world: grant that by faith in him who suffered on the cross, we may triumph in the power of his victory; through Jesus Christ your son, our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit - one God, now and forever. Amen.

ANNUAL CHURCH MEETINGS: These meetings for the various churches are imminent:

Everyone who is on their church electoral roll should attend to use their vote for officers for the coming year. (Your electoral roll will be on display in your church.)

CORONATION CELEBRATIONS: “Bring and Share” lunches are planned for Sunday 7th May at St Laurence, St Mark and St Catherine. THURSDAY FELLOWSHIP: The programme for the rest of March is as follows:

These take place at St Mark’s.

 

FOOD BANK: Although the parish office is not always open and available to take food donations, you can take them to your church and we will liaise about taking the food over to the food bank. Or you can take your donations directly there – Unit 3c, Westwood Business Park, Strasbourg Street, Margate CT9 3JJ (behind B&Q/ Home Bargains). If the warehouse is closed there is a chest where items can be left safely in the business park central office lobby (first door on left as you enter the ‘courtyard’).

WANTED!! Deanery Synod Secretary

The current Deanery Synod Secretary is stepping down and a new Secretary is required. The role will include: keeping the roll of members up to date, organising meetings (3 per year) creating agenda/notice of business to be discussed, taking minutes, reporting to Diocese and PCCs as necessary.
