THE COLLECT FOR MOTHERING SUNDAY
God of compassion, whose Son Jesus Christ, the child of Mary, shared the life of a home in Nazareth, and on the cross drew the whole human family to himself: strengthen us in our daily living that in joy and in sorrow we may know the power of your presence to bind together and to heal; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. ST MARK’S GARDENING TEAM: A gardening group is growing at St Mark! We plan to spend Wednesday mornings gardening and caring for St Mark’s Church and grounds. If you would be interested, please speak to Phil or Frances Barnes!
A SAFEGUARDING MODULE will be given by Kevin Spain at St Mark at the end of March (exact date tbc). If you are in need of refreshing your safeguarding training, please email the Parish Office for more information. (office@stlaurenceparish-ramsgate.org.uk)
THE NEXT CTiR PRAYER BREAKFAST will be held on Saturday 2nd April at 9am at St George’s Church.
ANNUAL CHURCH MEETINGS:

To be on your Local Leadership Team (LLT) you need to be on the electoral roll of the church you usually attend.
The Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM) at which the two Parochial Wardens are elected and the two PCC representatives from each church approved will be on Sunday 1st May at 4pm in St Laurence Parish Hall.
If you would like to have a say in what our “new normal” will be, please make sure you attend the meetings so that your voice can be heard!
There will be NO evening service at St Mark on Sunday 3rd April due to the above.
KNIT, CRAFT & NATTER will start at St Mark’s on Wednesday 6th April from 10-12. All are welcome! A charge of 50p will be made to cover costs. Speak to Frances Barnes for more info!
GOOD FRIDAY OPEN AIR WITNESS: On Good Friday (April 15th), there will be an open-air witness at 12 noon in Ramsgate Town Centre. Meet outside Hardres Street United Church at 11:45 for a walk following the cross, followed by a series of prayer, readings and hymns at noon. After the service, we will distribute hot cross buns bearing an Easter message to those in the market. For more information, please contact Carl Whitewood (carl.whitewood@salvationarmy.org.uk)
TRASH AND TREASURE: The Friends of St Nicholas at Wade Church invite you to Trash and Treasure on Saturday 23rd April, from 10-1 at St Nicholas at Wade Church. Join us in the church where someone else’s trash might be your very own treasure! Tea, coffee and cake will be available too.
SAVE THE DATES: St Catherine’s May Music Extravaganza! Every Friday evening in May, from 7pm – 9pm, St Catherine’s will be hosting musicians for an evening of music and fun. Watch this space for more details and artist information as they are announced! The first Music Extravaganza evening will be on Friday 6th May.
