ST LAWRENCE CLOCK APPEAL: 

We now have a “Go fund me” page up and running, it can be found at https://gofund.me/581f5ddd Please pass this on to anyone who would like to donate to the fund. There are also posters up in St Laurence Church with Go fund me tags for people to take the information home.

The NEW BANK ACCOUNT details for the clock appeal are Lloyds Bank, sort code 30-99-50 and account number 37336762. The account name is St Lawrence Clock Restoration Appeal. You are able to pay donations direct into this account either as a one off donation or a monthly direct debit. D-DAY 80 YEAR ANNIVERSARY: In conjunction with Manston Parish Council

St Catherine’s church will be holding a memorial event which will include a short service at 18:30 on Thursday 6^th June.  You are warmly invited to attend.

 

ST MARK’S BELLEPLATES AFTERNOON of MUSIC: Saturday, 15^th June, 2-4pm at St Mark’s in the church. Refreshments will be served.

 

BEGINNERS’ BELL-RINGING: Saturday, 15^th June 10:00 – 11:00

 

ANNA FRIENDS TRAINING: 26^th June, 3^rd and 10^th July 1pm – 3pm to be held at St Mark’s. For those who would like to learn more about how to support the spiritual wellbeing of older people and people living with dementia. ST LAURENCE JUNIOR ACADEMY SUMMER FAIR: Saturday, 29^th June The bell ringers will be supporting this event by showcasing the mini ring, for anyone to have a go at bell ringing. The Clock Restoration Appeal group will also have a stall there. Please come along and support our school.

 

INTERCESSIONS WORKSHOPS: The Rev Matt Hodder is holding intercessions workshops at St Peter’s Church on the following dates: Tuesday 2^nd July at 7:30pm or Wednesday 3^rd July at 11am.  Please let him know which event you would like to attend by emailing him on stpeterinthanet.org.uk/links/contact  

 

THE  LICENSING OF REVD CATHERINE TUCKER AS PRIEST-IN-CHARGE:

7.00pm on Wednesday 10th July.   The Parochial Wardens of St Laurence-in-Thanet would be delighted if you will celebrate the Licensing of the Revd Catherine Tucker as Priest-in-Charge of the St Laurence-in-Thanet Benefice by the Rt Revd Rose Hudson-Wilkin, Bishop of Dover with the Ven. Dr William Adam, Archdeacon of Canterbury. The service will take place at St Laurence-in-Thanet Church, St Lawrence, Ramsgate CT11 0QT, with refreshments following the service.

ST LAURENCE SUMMER FAYRE: 13^th July. Help is required to form a committee to plan this event and for volunteers to run stalls, and the sooner we have the list of volunteers the easier it is to plan. Also, donations of raffle/tombola prizes, cakes and even cash so prizes can be bought, would be gratefully received. If you can help with the Fayre in any way, please speak to Ann Gregson or Kelly Gooding at St Laurence after the Sunday services.
