THE COLLECT FOR TODAY
God our creator, who in the beginning commanded the light to shine out of darkness: we pray that the light of the glorious gospel of Christ may dispel the darkness of ignorance and unbelief, shine into the hearts of all your people, and reveal the knowledge of your glory in the face of Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

THE BELL RINGERS at St Laurence will be ringing from 5:00pm for about an hour on Sunday 6th February to mark HM Queen Elizabeth II’s accession to the throne.
ST LAURENCE CHURCH: If you have changed your method of planned giving please let us know. Using the reply slip on the December letter is the best way. We do value your continued contributions to church running costs whether or not you are attending church.
THE LEPROSY MISSION: At St Laurence we collect used stamps throughout the year. Please hand them to Ann Bootes or leave them at the Parish Office. They are a worthwhile money raiser.

SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL CHURCH and be fantastic! We now take card, so flash your plastic! If you’ve enjoyed your time in church today please consider setting up a standing order to give back to the church or making a contactless donation at the end of the service. Our bank details are: St Laurence-in-Thanet Team Ministry, sort code – 405240, account number – 00028720
GIFT AID: If you are a UK Income Tax payer, you can sign a gift aid declaration, this enables us to claim back the tax on your donation to the church at no extra cost to you. This is 25% of your donation that comes back to us that we can put towards the cost of running the churches! Ask your local warden for a Gift Aid form, or you can collect one from the office. You only need to fill it out once for it to make a huge difference to us. Thank you all!
HAVING A JANUARY CLEAR OUT? If you have any clothes that are in good, resalable condition, please donate them to the office and we will recycle them for cash for the church!
ST LAURENCE SPRING FAIR will be taking place on Saturday 26th March 2022, 10.30-13.00. We need help with the following as we start preparations:
