THE COLLECT FOR TODAY
Almighty God, give us grace to cast away the works of darkness and to put on the armour of light, now in the time of this mortal life, in which your Son Jesus Christ came to us in great humility, that on the last day when he shall come again in his glorious majesty to judge the living and the dead, we may rise to the life immortal, Through him - who is alive and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit - one God, now and forever. Amen.

It’s tricky to put all the details here, but I am sure that we will be hearing more very soon.
CAROLLING CAFÉ: Sunday 3rd December 4pm at St Christopher’s. As part of the efforts to recreate St Christopher’s as a community space, as a parish, we will be hosting an informal Carol Event with barbecue. It will take the efforts of all the other churches in our benefice to make it happen, so please step forward in any capacity to enhance this fun event – contact Kevin Spain (Parochial Warden) on kmschurchwarden @hotmail.com or leave a message for him via phone at the parish office on 592478.
CAROL SERVICE: Sunday 3rd December, 5pm at St Laurence please note the time – Nine lessons and carols

If you are unable to get along to any of the Appeal events or wish to make a regular monthly donation, remember you can donate direct to the clock restoration fund by bank transfer/online banking or standing order. The bank account is with Lloyds Bank in the name of Ramsgate Heritage Regeneration Trust, sort code 30-98-90 account number 18498668. Thank you for all your support to the Clock Restoration Appeal - Freda Parker
GOOD-TO-KNOW GROUPS: We have been contacted by Independent Age asking us to share the following:
Good to Know telephone groups invite a different guest speaker each week to discuss issues that matter to older people. Topics include scams, the cost-of-living crisis, social care, benefits and finding new social connections - things that are simply 'Good To Know' about. Think of these groups like a cup of tea and a chat at a community centre, but over the phone in the comfort of your living room. The groups are particularly great for older people unable to get out and about or to online activities.
You can find out more by visiting: www.independentage.org/get-support/telephone-groups/good-to-know-groups or by calling 0800 319 6789
CHRISTMAS ACTIVITIES AT OUR CHURCHES: We will publish a list of all the events at all the churches.
CLOTHING BANK: Cheryl (07398 038366) is still taking donations of second-hand clothing to the clothing bank at Westwood. It is generating a good income for the church.
