ST MARK LLT MEETING: The St Mark LLT Meeting will be on Thursday 7^th July at 7:00pm and will be held in the lounge.

CHAMBER CONCERT: In aid of the Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund there will be a Chamber Concert by Off the Wall ensemble with centenary performance of Alfred Wall’s rediscovered piano quartet and piano quartets by Frank Bridge and Huw Watkins on Saturday 30^th July at 3pm at The Salvation Army in Ramsgate CT11 9TT. Tickets are £10 on the door, Under 18’s go free and all others are P.O.A. Refreshments will be available. For more details please call 07900 497326.

SUMMER FAIR VOLUNTEERS: The St Laurence Fair is being held on Saturday 13^th August, from 2:00pm to 5:00pm in the grounds of St Laurence Junior Academy, on Newington Road, opposite the Fire Station. The fair is aiming to raise lots of funds for the parish. To make any fair a success requires an enormous amount of work. Could you be part of that success? We are looking for willing volunteers from across the parish to help with setting up, running stalls and helping to clear up afterwards. PRAYER SPACE AT ST LAURENCE: The Theme is ‘Fill this Space with Prayer’. Everyone who attends/visits St Laurence Church is invited to take a moment to stop and find time to add a prayer to Thank God for all he does for us and to also to take the time to add a prayer for those who need His support and how we can help provide the support needed. If you are unable to physically attend church, contact Sue Booker via the office and she will write it up for you and add to the Prayer Tree.

The Prayer for Pebbles on Pentecost Sunday was ‘Fill my life, Holy Spirit of God, with joy and love and hope. Live in me so I can show others how much you love them. Amen’ and the inspiration for the new Theme.

JULY’S MOST WANTED FOOD BANK ITEMS: This months most wanted food items are tinned meals, biscuits, pasta, pasta sauce and any non-perishable food. Thank you for your generosity and continued support; it really is appreciated and still so needed.

EXCITING NEWS FROM THE THANET FOOD LINK CO-ORDINATOR: The TFL has just received some funding towards teenage bags so we can give a bag of food and some toiletries to each teenager in a client’s family. Before they had child’s bags which are given out one between two for the children.
