ST CHRISTOPHER’S CHURCH: Spring Fair Fundraiser at St Christopher's Church with “Inspiring Positive Futures, Newington”: Saturday 26th April 10am until 4pm. MUSIC EXTRAVAGANZA: This annual event will be happening at St Catherine’s once again on four of the Fridays in May. The performers this year are:
2nd May Knight and Daze (vocals, guitar, keyboard, sing-along), 9th May Men of Chalk + (vocals, guitar, keyboard) 16th May David Lammler (organ and keyboard) 23rd May Greyhound Buskers (ukeleles, vocals).
Please do put the dates in your diary! Performances will start at 7pm. £8 per evening or £24 for all 4, if booked in advance. £9 on the door.
SPIRITUALITY HOUR Spirituality Hour continues monthly at Saint Laurence in the candlelit Chapel – refreshments at 7pm for 7.30pm 7th May 4th June
ST LAURENCE CLOCK APPEAL: Total raised at 28th March £14,230.78. Dates for your diary: 9th May, 7:30pm (doors open at 7:00pm) a concert by Edward and the Coastal Choir in St Laurence Church. Tickets £10.00 from Freda or on the door. Tickets include refreshments. 31st May 10:00am to 4:00pm Art Show in St Laurence Church with a preview on the Friday evening. Tables still available to book to show and sell your art work, contact Mick on 07966225217. 28th June Pat’s Strawberry Tea – an all-day event, more details to follow
ANNUAL CHURCH MEETINGS: Sunday 27 April after the service at St Mark's, St Catherine's & St Laurence, Sunday 4 May 3pm at St Christopher's. To be a member of the LOCAL LEADERSHIP TEAM and have a vote you need to be on the electoral roll and this year everyone who wishes to be on the electoral roll must fill in a new form.
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING: Note the date: Annual Parochial Church Meeting – Sunday 18th May 12.45pm at St Mark’s (refreshments/lunch beforehand from 12 noon).
