THE COLLECT FOR TODAY
O God, you know us to be set in the midst of so many and great dangers, that by reason of the frailty of our nature we cannot always stand upright: grant to us such strength and protection as may support us in all dangers and carry us through all temptations; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. NOTICES AND FORTHCOMING EVENTS
ST MARK’S CHURCH HALL: It has been decided that the Church Hall will remain open while the new kitchen is being fitted at St Mark’s. During this time, between the 31st January and 25th February, the kitchen area will be out of bounds.
THE BELL RINGERS at St Laurence will be ringing from 5:00pm for about an hour on Sunday 6th February to mark HM Queen Elizabeth II’s accession to the throne.
THE LEPROSY MISSION: At St Laurence we collect used stamps throughout the year. Please hand them to Ann Bootes or leave them at the Parish Office. They are a worthwhile money raiser.
FEBRUARY’S MOST WANTED ITEMS FOR THE FOOD BANK: pasta, tinned meat, tinned meals, packet meals, cereal bars, cuppa soups. Thank you for your generosity and continued support; it really is appreciated and still so needed.

ST LAURENCE SPRING FAIR will be taking place on Saturday 26th March 2022, 10.30-13.00. We need help with the following as we start preparations:
- green tablecloths/sheets (If you want these returned, please clearly label with name)
- artificial spring flowers and egg cups (non-returnable).
