Should you have a gluten allergy and wish to receive communion please let one of the sides people know at least 10 minutes before the service starts so that a gluten free wafer may be provided.

THE COLLECT FOR TODAY
Almighty God, whose Son Jesus Christ is the resurrection and the life: raise us, who trust in him, from the death of sin to the life of righteousness, that we may seek those things which are above, where he reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
THOUGHT OF THE WEEK
Lord, teach me to silence my own heart that I may listen to the gentle movement of the Holy Spirit within me and sense the depths which are of God.

A MESSAGE FROM JESS: This is my last week as Parish Administrator, and I wanted to thank you all for your kindness and support while I’ve been in the role. The last year has been full of laughter and joy and I have really felt fully welcomed into the lovely community here in this Parish. I will miss you all, and thank you again.
ST. LAURENCE MEMBERS COLLECTION BOXES: Thank you to all members who took CMS collecting boxes during Lent. Please can these boxes now be handed in promptly.
MAY’S MOST WANTED FOOD BANK ITEMS: pasta, tinned soup, baked beans, tinned or packet potatoes, tinned fish. Thank you for your generosity and continued support; it really is appreciated and still so needed.

Friday 20th May, 7:00pm – THANET GOSPEL CHOIR – fun and interactive singing. Join in and sing with us!
Friday 27th May, 7:00pm – GREYHOUND UKULELE GROUP. Finale event, feel good music and singalong.

PEBBLES: There will be no Pebbles at St. Laurence Church on Sunday 15th May. If you would like the resources for this session please let Sue Booker know on Booker_Sue@hotmail.com.
BRING AND SHARE LUNCH: There will be a bring and share lunch directly after the Songs of Praise service in the Parish Hall on Sunday 15th May. All are welcome to attend.
THE NEXT PASTORAL/BEREAVEMENT TEAM MEETING will be held on Monday 16th May at 2pm in St Laurence Church.
ROGATION SUNDAY SERVICE: There will be a Rogation Sunday Service that involves a walk starting at St. Catherine’s on Sunday 22nd May at 6.00pm.
OFFICE VOLUNTEERS REQUIRED: Can you spare a morning a week to help in the St Laurence Parish Office? Volunteers are needed to assist in the office with a range of administrative duties.
